Since its inception in 2017 at Thurgoona Country Club Resort, the NSW Senior Open has been shaped by a roll call of Australian golf legends, led by inaugural champion Grant Kenny and followed by champions including Michael Long, Brad Burns, Richard Green, Adam Henwood, David McKenzie and Matthew Goggin. The championship has also consistently featured some of the game’s most celebrated senior players, notably the iconic trio of Peter Senior, Peter Lonard and Peter O’Malley, whose combined achievements on national and international tours have helped cement the NSW Senior Open’s reputation as one of Australia’s premier senior championships.
